India Chyna Bell
In the fall of 2021 soon after joining OA JET, ChyNa secured a position as a PA on the set of the Apple+ production Gravediggers which allowed her to gain more insight into the film industry.
She then served as a Production Coordinator, Hair and Makeup artist and Set Medic for OA Productions’ Babushka. She is excited to move forward in the film industry.
Jasmine Elmore
Jasmine Elmore is a senior in VCUarts' Photo/Film BFA program, she joined Oakwood Arts in the Fall of 2021 as an intern in the OAJet program. Jasmine worked as Sound Utility on the set of Babushka with Sound Mixer Jesse Smith. Having a wide array of interests in Film production ranging from Sound to Camera to Special Effects, her main goal is to jump into the industry after she finishes her senior thesis Pallium and see where this exciting journey takes her.
Tricia Evangelisto
Tricia was introduced to OA Jet after receiving her first position through Oakwood Arts as a PA on a Capital One Commercial. Since joining OA Jet, she has been able to be mentored under Pat Storey & Mike Harrell on the first OA Production Babushka in the Art Department, learning Set Design & Props. She hopes to continue a career in the film industry in the art department; specifically props!
Cecilia Nguyen
Cecilia Nguyen is an artist who specializes in lens-based media. She currently studies photography and film at Virginia Commonwealth University and holds these mediums near to her heart. She worked on Babushka as a 2nd AC and a student film, Pallium, as 1st AC. She continues to move her way toward director of photography and director.
Liv taylor
Liv is an artist, photographer and VCU senior that started at Oakwood Arts as a volunteer in 2021. She became an intern/programs mentor and has since become involved in the production and camera departments of the film industry. She worked on the set of Babushka as a producer’s assistant and set PA. She served on a student film, Pallium as 1st AD, camera utility and production manager. In the upcoming weeks, she will be the 1st AD on another student film, The River. She hopes to one day write and direct her own feature film.

Mike Harrell, Props Master & OA Board Member
Mike Harrell has worked for thirty years as a props person in the film industry. His credits include “Cold Mountain,” “The Sopranos,” Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” and the HBO series “John Adams.” He formerly served on the Advisory Board of the World Music Institute in NYC, and the Executive Board of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local 487, in Baltimore, MD.
